Tomoya is a first year child and adolescent psychiatry fellow. He is extremely interested in exploring early developmental trajectories of social, emotional and behavioral problems in young children and their clinical correlates late in life. His other research interest is investigating how comorbid psychiatric disorders emerge in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Outside of his clinical and research work, he likes traveling (he seriously misses the years when he was backpacking in Europe and Asia to visit ancient architecture), running, and reading Kazuo Ishiguro's novels.
